Martial arts mats feature puzzled edge and reversible interlocking design with double colors which means each floor tile has two colors, one color on each side of the mat. This double color feature allows for ring designs and available in different thickness, density and color options. The unique two color allows the flooring designer to get creative with the layout look and feel of their martial arts floor.

Because the tiles are reversible, this means that the tiles can only be installed in one direction, in other words the tiles are not universal and must be laid out with each tile in the same directional orientation. This makes the floor a little bit less economical as when a tile must be cut to fit for a wall to wall installation the leftover material can not be used again in the flooring layout.

Interlocking martial arts mats are extremely lightweight and do not require any adhesive to install. This makes them ideal for people who like to bring their martial arts floor with them for practice or to competitions. Most of our martial arts mats will come with two border strips per tile. This allows you to transform tiles from centers into borders or corner tiles as needed and provides for a finished edge on the matted floor.
